About

Maryland Trampoline and Tumbling serves trampoline and tumbling community at the state level for USA Gymnastics.

Trampoline and Tumbling (T&T) is a discipline within USA Gymnastics. Competitive T&T is comprised of 4 separate events.

Individual trampoline uses a trampoline to propel gymnasts up to 30 feet in the air where they perform twists and somersaults. Individual men’s and women’s trampoline was added to the Olympic Games in 2000.

Tumbling utilizes elevated rod-floor runways that enable athletes to jump to heights of more than 10 feet and execute a variety of acrobatic maneuvers.

Double mini trampoline, athletes make a short run, leap onto a small two-level trampoline, perform a two-jump pass comprised of various aerial skills and dismount onto a landing mat.

Synchronized trampoline involves 2 athletes, each on their own trampoline, doing the same routine at the same time.

All 4 events are showcased in various international level events such as World Championships, Wolrd Cups. Specific events are part of the Pan American Games, World Games, and various other high level international contests.
